Wednesday is Winesday at The Daffodil

Exciting news…..Wednesday at The Daffodil is now officially known as ‘Winesday’!
Starting on Wednesday 6th May you are invited to join us for the first of a new and regular feature on The Daffodil calendar - our monthly early evening wine flight discovery - held on the first Wednesday of every month.

Each month we will sample three different yet generic wines, accompanied by delicious hors d’oeuvres, carefully chosen to compliment the wine selection. For only £15 per head you will be able to eat, drink and discuss the wines in an informal setting with our guest wine expert.

As an added bonus every ‘Winesday’ guest receives a 50% discount on any of the wines tasted for the rest of that month when dining on a Wednesday, allowing you to indulge further or simply enjoy your favorite wine at half price.

To pull the cork on our first ‘Winesday’ we will be joined by Nikki Jarrett from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust who will guide us through a discovery of Sauvignon Blanc, from the freshness of Marlborough, New Zealand to the classic opulence of Sancerre in the Loire Valley.

‘Winesdays’ take place on the first Wednesday of every month between 7.00pm and 8.00pm and are held in the relaxed comfort of our mezzanine circle bar overlooking the main restaurant.
