Happy New Year

The Daffodil would like to thank you for your valued custom in 2007 and wish you a very happy new year for 2008.

2008 is the beginning of lots of exciting changes for the restaurant, starting with a major refurbishment which sees Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen taking charge of the design.  You can keep up to date with the changes over the weeks by visiting our website and reading The Daffodil blog at www.thedaffodil.com.

Well... the works commenced on the 2nd January  and will be finished and ready for opening on Monday 11th February.  It has been really exciting watching the designs that have been in the making for so many months finally start to take shape.  We will be having a brand new Bollinger Champagne & Cocktail bar upstairs as well as a new stage area in front of the kitchen for our live jazz evenings.

www.thedaffodil.com is also having a facelift and will be re-launched on Monday 11th February. Look out for monthly offers & recommendations on wines and cocktails from our Bar Manager Andreu as well as recipes from Head Chef Mark Davidson.

What's going on?

Monday 11th February

Why not be the first to sample some of our new mouth-watering dishes whilst admiring the outstanding design works of Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.  We will be open for lunch from Midday and then in the evening be the first to see Casey Greene's Quiver - a fabulous 5 piece latin band playing on our new spectacular raised stage.  Casey Greene is one of Australia's finest sax and flute players who is now adopted in this country as a Salopian.

Thursday 14th February

Indulge your loved one on Valentine's night with our Daffodil Discovery and two glasses of Bollinger to share for £65 in addition to our A La Carte, then, after dinner, relax upstairs in The Circle Bar with coffee and petits fours or be tempted into having a creamy, sweet with a kick "Silk Stocking" after dinner cocktail!
